Craftsmanship and attention to details are the common threads shared by both Poggio Torselli estate and our two fashion partners, Scuola del Cuoio, the Florentine institute focusing on leather manufacturing, and cashmere artisanal brand 19 Andrea’s 47 based in Prato.
Along with our Tuscan origins, we all reserve the greatest attention to primary products ‒ whether it is healthy crunchy grapes, first quality leather or soft wool ‒ production processes and sense of beauty. This has allowed to create a special collection inspired by the Tuscan elegance and fragrance of Poggio Torselli’s Chianti Classico wines. The collection includes a two-tone cashmere blanket, reminding of the smooth nuances of the local rolling hills in fall, along with a leather shopper paired with a leather-engraved cork screw pursue and coasters.
Two-tone cashmere blanket
Two-tone cashmere blanket: 19 Andrea’s 47 has built a name for itself for high-end cashmere fabrics, featuring clothes, shawls, plaids and blankets. The entire production is carried out in Italy under the strictest quality protocols and in a most creative environment. The fabrics are still produced on antique shuttle looms, embellished with fine yarns, weaves effects, exclusive prints and manual paintworks.
Unisex leather shopper: The historical Scuola del Cuoio has been established in 1950 inside the old novitiate building of Basilica di Santa Croce and is internationally renowned for its experience as a hub for education, work and production of leather objects and accessories. Scuola del Cuoio revives the minor arts drawn from the experience of the master craftsmen while upholding at the same time the great traditions of Florentine quality craftsmanship.
